Arrangements

Zemax training classes are held regularly around the world. Each venue is conveniently located close to lodging, restaurants, and airports making travel easy and convenient. Course fees do not include travel expenses, lodging, meals or other personal expenses.

Course fees include:

  • Instruction
  • Computer workstation during the class
  • Printed course notes
  • Hands-on exercises

Fees & Registration

Quick and easy online registration and payment for all training classes is available. Training classes must be paid for at the time of registration to secure a seat in the scheduled class. Individual class fees are listed with each training course description, click here to browse the available training courses.

All in-person courses have a minimum attendance requirement.  If the course cannot meet the minimum attendance, students will be notified of the course cancellation no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. This does not apply to online courses which do not have a minimum attendance requirement.

What happens if you pay for a course and cannot make the scheduled date?

PUBLIC TRAINING

If you change your course reservation a minimum of 2 weeks before the first day of class, you will receive 100% credit for the amount paid, which can be applied to any available training course. Credit must be used within one year of the date of issue. If you need to cancel your course reservation less than 2 weeks before the first day of class, no credit or refund will be issued; however, you may request a copy of the course notes for your originally-scheduled course.
 

PRIVATE TRAINING

We schedule private training dates on a first-come, first-served basis, and a training date is only reserved once payment has been received and processed by Zemax LLC. If a private training date needs to be moved and it was scheduled for >30 days out, Zemax LLC will issue your company a 100% training credit, which must be used within one year of receipt of your original payment. Zemax will provide you with a list of available alternative training dates at your request. Changes or cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled training date will not receive a credit or refund.

What happens if Zemax cancels a course?

PUBLIC TRAINING

Zemax LLC reserves the right to cancel a public training course due to low attendance. If attendance is low for your scheduled course, you will be notified of the course cancellation via email or phone a minimum of 2 weeks before the first day of class. Zemax will issue you a 100% credit for the amount paid for a cancelled course, which can be applied to any available training course or used to purchase a printed copy of the c ourse notes. Credit must be used within one year of the date of issue.
 

PRIVATE TRAINING

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme or inclement weather, natural disaster, or medical emergency, Zemax LLC reserved the right to cancel a private course. Zemax LLC will issue your company a 100% training credit, which must be used within one year of receipt of your original payment.
